If you run a CNC plasma table, you already know the problem: you want to cut something this weekend, and you don't want to spend three hours drawing it first. So here is everything Tin Man Metal Works gives away, in one place.

Every file on this page is free. They are all cut-ready vector files — SVG and DXF — drawn for plasma, and they run just as well on a laser or a router. No backer layers, no assembly, no cleanup work before you can cut.

A word on what "free" means here, because it is worth being straight about it: you give me an email address, I give you the files. That is the whole trade. You get put on the list, you get told when new files drop, and you can leave whenever you want.

Seasonal work is where most plasma shops make their money, and it is the easiest place to start if you are new to selling.

These sell to a different customer than the seasonal stuff — car people, shop owners, anyone who wants something on the wall of a garage.

Monograms are the single most reliable seller in this business, because every one you cut is a custom piece somebody wants their own name on.

Files are only half of it. If you want the table to pay for itself, you need to know what to charge and how to find customers.

Nothing unusual. Any CNC plasma table will run them — CrossFire, CrossFire PRO, Titan, or anything else that takes a standard file. Open the SVG or DXF in your CAM software, set your own kerf offset, post it, and cut. Nothing here has kerf compensation baked in, so the offset is yours to set for your machine, your consumables and the thickness you are cutting.

14 gauge is a good default for signs. Thicker if it is going outside and needs to survive weather and wind.

Because I sell cut files for a living, and the fastest way to show you they are worth buying is to hand you some for free and let the metal speak for itself. If you cut one of these and it comes off the table clean, you know what you are getting when you buy a pack.

New files go out to the list first. That is the only reason the email matters.
